“Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, has posted a video on several file sharing sites, including YouTube, that edits together readings from the Koran, footage of terrorist attacks, and militant Muslims calling for attacks on non-Muslim people… His video sets out to make the case that Islam is a violent religion, and it goes about its task with all subtlety of a brick to the head. The response has been highly ironic: on Tuesday 50 people rallied outside the Dutch embassy in Jakarta claiming that Islam was not, in fact, a violent religion and, to prove their point, they demanded that Geert Wilders be put to death.”
